Artist's Salon Featuring Adam Johnson


Join us for our fall Artist's Salon with Professor Adam Johnson of the Stanford English Department, who will read selected passages from his latest book The Orphan Master's Son and answer questions on North Korea, gender and other aspects of the human condition as well as his writing process. The Stanford Bookstore will be on hand selling copies of the book. This event is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.

    Adam Johnson is an Associate Professor of English with an emphasis in creative writing at Stanford University. A Whiting Writers’ Award winner, his fiction has appeared in Esquire, Harper's, Playboy, Paris Review, Granta, Tin House and Best American Short Stories.
