Exhibits of Iconic Ms. Covers and Winners of Essay Contest

Stanford faculty and editors of Ms. magazine selected 40 iconic Ms. magazine covers representing feminist issues, imagery and writing over the past forty years. These covers were the inspiration for a nationwide Iconic Cover Short-Essay contest. Ten winners were chosen based on their originality, vision, awareness of feminist values, and quality of expression.

A colorful exhibit of all forty covers, along with the ten winning essays, will be on display at the Clayman Institute, Serra House, 589 Capistrano Way, from January 10th-March 23rd.  The covers will be available to view at the Clayman Institute, Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm.  The ten winning essays, alongside the covers that inspired them, will be on display in glass cases in the Lobby of Green Library from January 10th through March 23rd. This event is organized as part of Ms. @ 40 and the Future of Feminism.
