Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk San Francisco

Join us on Saturday, March 8, 2014 on the Great Meadow at Fort Mason in San Francisco for the Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Vital Voices, with the support of our Global Sponsor, Bank of America, will host Global Mentoring Walks in more than 30 countries on the same day and, for the first time, in three major U.S. cities: San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC. This international celebration aims to create an environment for collaboration and networking among emerging and established women leaders in their own communities.

International Women’s Day recognizes women’s contribution to global progress and reminds us of the work that remains to advance women and communities everywhere. This special day provides the ideal opportunity to demonstrate the power of women’s leadership and unite women in support of other women.

The San Francisco Mentoring Walk will include a program with inspirational speakers and a leisurely walk with views of the Golden Gate Bridge, followed by a light lunch and entertainment. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the event concludes at 12 p.m.

Speakers and Featured Mentors include:

Geraldine Laybourne, Chairman and Co-Founder, Kandu; founding Chairman and CEO of Oxygen Media, Vital Voices/Bank of America Global Ambassador

Megan Smith, Vice President, Google[x]; Vital Voices Board Member

Roselyne Swig, Founder and President of ComCon International; Vital Voices Board Member; and Mentoring Advocate

We hope you can join us to celebrate International Women’s Day!
