Carley Flanery
Director of the Sexual Assault and Relationship Abuse Office at Stanford

Carley Flanery is the Director of the Office of Sexual Assault & Relationship Abuse Education & Response (SARA) at Stanford. A first generation college student from northern Wisconsin, Carley has master's degrees in public health and social work from the University of Michigan. Along with the rest of the team at the SARA office, Carley coordinates the comprehensive response to sexual and relationship violence on our campus. Additionally, Carley provides advocacy services, consultations about options and resources, and outreach to engage students across the Stanford community. With a focus on prevention education, intervention, and outreach, the staff at the SARA office collaborate with all members of the campus community to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety and respect.
