Christine Larson
Author, Journalist and Visiting Lecturer, Stanford Department of Communication

Christine Larson is an award-winning nonfiction author and journalist, with a special interest in women entrepreneurs and leaders, who writes on business, media, health and general interest topics for national publications. Larson is a visiting lecturer in Stanford's Department of Communication and co-author, with demographer Maddy Dychtwald, of Influence: How Women’s Soaring Economic Power Will Change Our World for the Better, which Publisher’s Weekly called “a riveting exploration of women’s economic emancipation in the 21st century.” Larson graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English, and was a John S. Knight Fellow in Journalism at Stanford University in 2009-2010, where she created the Future of Freelancing conferenced, which brought top magazine editors together with experienced freelance writers.  Her articles and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, Details, Forbes, More, Glamour and many other publications.
