Jennifer Raymond

Jennifer L. Raymond, PhD, is a neuroscientist who has worked extensively to promote diversity in the scientific workforce.  She has a BA in Mathematics from Williams College, a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and completed postdoctoral training at UCSF.  She is currently a Professor of Neurobiology at the Stanford School of Medicine.   Dr. Raymond is an award-winning teacher, and her research on the neural mechanisms of learning and memory has earned her international recognition.  She has served as an Associate Dean in the Office of Diversity and Leadership, and her efforts to increase the representation of women in science have been reported in scholarly journals as well as national news outlets.
