Lera Boroditsky
Assistant Professor in Psychology, School of Humanities and Sciences

Lera Boroditsky is an assistant professor in the Psychology department of the School of Humanities and Sciences. She received a degree in Cognitive Sciences from Northwestern University (B.A. with Honors, 1996), and her Ph.D in Cognitive Psychology from Stanford University in 2001. Most recently, she was awarded the McDonnell Scholar Award, as well as the National Science Foundation (NSF) Award.

Her research includes topics of the relationships between mind, world, and language; how we construct knowledge from our experiences with the world; how we use our knowledge to interpret new experiences.
