Pam Grossman
Nomellini Olivier Professor of Education
Clayman Institute Faculty Voice and Influence Fellow, 2011-2012

Professor Grossman’s research interests include teacher education and certification; English education, literacy, and literature; and professional development.  Grossman’s current research includes the study of classroom practice in middle school English Language Arts, the study of pathways into teaching in New York City Schools and cross-professional study of the teaching of practice in programs to prepare teachers, clergy, and clinical psychologists.   Professor Grossman received a BA in English from Yale University, an MA in Instructional Research and Curriculum Design from the University of California at Berkeley, and both an EdS in Evaluation and a PhD in Curriculum and Teacher Education from Stanford University.
