Ruth M. O'Hara Is an Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine. She received both her B.A (1983) and her M.A. (1984) in Experimental Psychology fromUniversityCollege in Dublin,Ireland; after which she earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Southern California (1993).
Dr. O'Hara's research aims to identify the physiological markers of neurocognitive impairment in a broad range of late-life disorders, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimers disease (AD), Late-Life Depression, and Late-Life Anxiety disorders.
