Shireen Rudina
Graduate Voice & Influence Program Fellow 2016-2017


Shireen Rudina is a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at Stanford. Before Stanford, she received a BS in Biological Engineering from MIT and interned at the synthetic biology startup Ginkgo Bioworks in Boston. Shireen's research focuses on molecular tools to improve the safety and efficacy of gene therapy. Her scientific interests are gene and cellular therapies, bioinformatics and synthetic biology. Long term, she is interested in business development and entrepreneurship in biotechnology.
