Simona Sharoni
Professor of Gender and Women's Studies, State University of New York – Plattsburgh

Simona Sharoni is a Professor of Gender & Women’s Studies at the State University of New York – Plattsburgh. She holds a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University, and has conducted field research and written extensively on the relationship between violence against women and the violence of war. She authored the college-level curriculum that accompanied the film The Hunting Ground, and is the cofounder of Faculty Against Rape (FAR).
