Ting-Ting Huang
Assistant Professor in Department of Neurology & Neurological Sciences, School of Medicine

Ting-Ting Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Department if Neurology & Neurological Sciences in the School of Medicine. Prior to her arrival to Stanford, she received her B.S from Taipei Medical College in Medical Technology (1981). She went on to receive her M.S in Microbiology and Immunology, and Ph.D in Microbial Genetics, from the University of Oklahoma HSC. 

During her postdoctoral training with Dr. Charles J. Epstein at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Huang became an expert in mammalian genetics. Her research focused on using genetic tools to create and characterize mouse models for human diseases. Currently, she studies the role of oxygen free radicals in oxidative tissue damage and degeneration, and her research tools include transgenic and knockout mice, and tissue culture cells for in vitro gene expression.
