Come learn how queer Jews today are helping to decolonize the Yiddish language and to create a more inclusive future. This event will feature Lili Rosen (actress, writer, translator,  and Yiddish cultural consultant) and Jonathan Branfman (Reinhard postdoctoral fellow in Jewish Studies at Stanford). Together, they'll discuss how they created the world's first Yiddish LGBTQ youth guide, which is also the first published LGBTQ text of its kind in Yiddish. Likewise, they'll discuss how this project has drawn from their own Jewish queer identities.

Lunch included with RSVP.

If you need a disability-related accommodation, please contact: Shaina Hammerman at sjhammer [at] stanford.edy (sjhammer[at]stanford[dot]edy). Requests should be made by May 4, 2023.
