David Hong: "Sex vs. Gender?: An examination of sex differences in cognition and behavior through a biological lens"

David Hong will present his research in the area of cognitive development, including an overview of biological mechanisms related to sex differences in these domains. He will outline genetic and hormonal influences on the brain and behavior, as illustrated in conditions such as sex chromosome aneuploidy, where individuals have an abnormal number of sex chromosomes.

David Hong is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (Interdisciplinary Brain Science Research) at the Stanford University Medical Center.
