Christine Ford: “Narratives of Gender-Based Violence”

De-identified letters sent to a survivor after public testimony were read and coded by doctoral students in trauma psychology. Dr. Ford will discuss three themes that emerged, including: actions taken by survivors after hearing testimony, reasons for not reporting their own assault, and making new meaning of their experience.
