Please join us for a book talk with Michael Kimmel, who will discuss his most recent work, Guyland: The Perilous World Where Boys Become Men, which explores how proving masculinity has become central to the lives of over 20 million college-aged men nation-wide.
This event is part of the Clayman Institute's 2012-2013 theme which focuses on moving beyond barriers between work, family, and society. Notions of masculinity, and the pressure college-aged men face to conform to such notions, often leads to conflict as men move beyond campus life and enter into professional and familial relationships.
This event is co-sponsored by the Inter-Fraternity Council and Men Against Abuse Now.
