What "She Said": A conversation with Jodi Kantor

The Clayman Institute for Gender Research is pleased to announce the next event in our flagship Jing Lyman Lecture series.
JODI KANTOR is a best-selling author and Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times investigative reporter whose work reveals hidden truths about power, law, gender, technology, and culture. In 2017, she was one of the reporters who broke the story of allegations against Harvey Weinstein, a major moment in the #MeToo movement.
Kantor went on to co-author a book about the Weinstein investigation, She Said, which was adapted into a 2022 film. Recently, she has been working to illuminate the Supreme Court, including a behind-the-scenes story of how the justices overturned Roe v. Wade.
Kantor will appear in conversation with PAMELA S. KARLAN, the Kenneth & Harle Montgomery Professor of Public Interest Law at Stanford. Karlan is co-director of the school’s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic and one of the nation’s leading experts on voting and the political process. She previously served as a Clayman Institute faculty research fellow.
The Jing Lyman Lecture recognizes trailblazers who contribute significantly to gender equality over their lifetime. Please plan to join us on THURSDAY, OCT. 9, 6 p.m., at Bing Concert Hall for this very special event, presented in partnership with Stanford Live. Tickets are now available through STANFORD LIVE.
This event is generously co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Department of Communication, and Stanford VMware Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab.
