Student Prizes

Three Clayman Institute prizes honor the next generation of gender research scholars.

As one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished institutes focused on interdisciplinary gender research, the Clayman Institute offers a number of opportunities to support graduate students working on gender topics. Not only do the dissertation fellowships, research monies and essay prizes highlight new thinking in gender research, but they also afford leading graduate students the opportunity to present their research in a number of forums.

The Yalom and Lozoff prizes are awarded by nomination only, by Stanford faculty and Clayman Institute affiliates. The Strober Prize is awarded to the individual — graduate or undergraduate — who pens the most widely-read Gender News article.
