Charitini Douvaldzi is an assistant professor in German Studies in the School of Humanities and Sciences. She received her M.A. in Comparative Literature from the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, Germany in 1994, and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University in 2002.
Her interests are focused on 18th to 20th century German literature and culture; autobiography and the Bildungsroman; psychoanalytic and cultural theory; narrative, vision, and the arts of memory; ethics and aesthetics of incompletion.
