Cynthia Newberry joined the Clayman Institute staff in 2018 as communications manager. She leads the effort to amplify the Institute's work through print and digital media. In addition to writing and editing for the Institute's newsletter, Gender News, Cynthia manages the Web site and social media, and plans to produce the next issue of the Clayman Institute's upRising magazine. Cynthia began her career in print journalism covering health care policy and regulation for Health News Daily. She then moved to digital communications, working with organizations such as PBS, Peace Corps, Direct Relief, Hope with South Sudan and the Happy Hollow Foundation to support their outreach and fundraising goals with online products.
