Deborah Byron

Debbie is a transformational leader who is passionate about creating new solutions to complex business challenges by improving executive leadership alignment, global communications, and operating efficiencies. She has established an impressive track record as a C-suite executive and board leader responsible for leading strategic change initiatives in high tech, professional services, and educational institutions. Further, Debbie has been a trailblazer in working towards gender equity, particularly in the tech industry, for more than 35 years.
Working at the intersection of business strategy and people operations, Debbie has guided business and organizational transformations as a senior executive for Risk Management Solutions, Business Objects/SAP, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the California State Automobile Association and Tandem Computers, and has worked with a broad range of clients in her organizational consulting practice. Debbie currently serves as CEO advisor and board member for several start-up companies. Debbie was a fellow in the inaugural cohort of the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute. She is a member of the Advisory Council for the Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Harvey Mudd College. Previously, she served as chair of the Stanford Women on Boards Initiative, chair of the board of the Career Action Center, and was publicly elected as a board member and two-term president of the top-ranked Cupertino Union School District.
Debbie graduated from Stanford University and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
