Ericka Weathers is a doctoral candidate in the Educational Policy program at the Graduate School of Education. She holds a M.A. in Policy Studies from the University of Washington Bothell and a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University. Ericka is interested in the impact of structural inequality on racial disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes. Her recent work examines racial disproportionality in school discipline, academic achievement, special education placements, school finance, and testing accommodations.
