Kate Reinmuth

Kate Reinmuth is a PhD candidate in Economics at Stanford University. Her research uses tools from labor economics and industrial organization to study how market frictions and institutional constraints shape outcomes for workers, consumers, and firms. Her current work includes research on gender disparities in career advancement in high-skilled labor markets. Katewas previously a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, a Stanford Impact Labs Fellow, and a John M. Olin Program Law and Economics Fellow. She also completed her JD at Stanford Law School in 2025 and received her BA from Middlebury College in 2017.
