Meagan Khoury
Clayman Institute Research Assistant, 2021-22
Meagan Khoury investigates art historical questions of gender in later medieval and early modern Europe. Her current project centers women’s labor networks in the 16th century through silk, embroidery, and lace production within an ecofeminist framework. Khoury coedited Medieval Mobilities: Gendered Bodies, Spaces, and Movements (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023). She received her PhD from Stanford University. Her research has been supported by Fulbright, the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, and the Kress Foundation.
