Morgan Canaan

Morgan Canaan (she/her) is a Junior majoring in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She joined the Clayman Institute student staff in the spring of 2020. In her creative and academic work, she explores intersectional feminist autotheory, hybrid forms of narrative, language and inexpressibility, anecdotal histories, performativity, pleasure activism, queer intimacy, and friendship between womxn. She’s particularly in love with investigating what readers and writers owe to each other. With the Clayman Institute, she hopes to uplift and decolonize feminist research, conversations, and stories in joyful community with staff, faculty, and fellows.
