Sonja Brand

As the CEO and founding partner of SABM Holdings, an alternative investment fund launched in 2015, Sonja invests across early stage and publicly listed technology and consumer companies, with a focus on transformative business models and ESG impact.

Besides serving as an advisor to the Clayman Institute for Gender Research, Sonja is a member of the Stanford Undergraduate Cabinet and a council member of Stanford LEAD. She has served as co-chair for her 5th, 15th, and 20th Stanford reunion campaigns, and with her husband, Martin, established the Sonja and Martin Brand Undergraduate Scholarship Fund.

Sonja has an MBA from Stanford Business School, Arjay Miller Scholar, and a Masters and Bachelors in Engineering from Stanford University. She lives in NYC with her husband and their three children.
