Stevie DeGroff, J.D. 2019, spent the first nine years of her career in the technology industry, helping global companies navigate digital media and marketing. After gaining exposure to the policy issues facing emerging technology, she decided to pivot to the legal side of the industry. Stevie is currently a third year student at Stanford Law School where she is focused on the challenges of regulating new technology, such as limits of free speech online, legal responsibility for artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity concerns surrounding connected devices. When not contemplating the rise of the robots, Stevie enjoys running, cooking, and hiking the tallest mountain within driving distance.
